Octopus Live Vinyl Compilation Kickstarter Update #7

Hello,

I hope you are all well! Continued thanks for your support for the Octopus Live Vinyl Compilation. 

We have been busy. On Saturday July 27 a small group of us met at Octopus and listened to the near final mixes. The record sounds amazing. It still sounds live, but the clarity is stunning. We have a few changes to make and a final running order to decide on. After that? We master the songs for vinyl and send it off to be pressed. Early stages of the graphic production for the cover are underway as well. Progress!

Look for some album release shows at Octopus in November. Also, keep an eye out for a survey we'll be sending your way from Kickstarter. That'll happen in the next couple of weeks.  It'll ask what size you need (if you ordered a tee or hoodie), mailing address and any other pertinent information.

This has been a great project to work on and your financial support made it all possible. I know that all of us working on this record appreciate that. A lot. Think about it. There are 12 Iowa bands on this record and 9 are from the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area. We are fortunate to live in a city and a state that values original, live music!
